Oh man, my parents had an english mastiff and it was FUCKING awesome!! Fav dog ever. It had a world champion's bloodline and was female, 220lbs! They are just like big babies, crave lots of attention and can get depressed if they dont get it. They dont live long though, around 10yrs and get hip problems. Just a massive dog, hard to describe how huge they are until you see one in person. My father said he would never get another one because it was like one of his kids dying

bull dogs were bred partially for this, they bite the nose of the bull and keep him under control when he is in heat, this is back before artificial insemination when bulls had to have sex with cows to make more cows and bulls
