Not sure exactly Shep,but he looks great in those shots.

He looked good in later years too,even in the 90`s before going to prison.

They are weird but they give you a massive pump, when you contract and squeeze at the top of the movement the forearms receive alot of the work. Not conventional but very effective.

He got freaky huge in the mid-late 1980s but by then he had trash-mouthed the judges so much that he received very mediocre placings, as a result his promotion in the magazines dropped

which is why most of the pictures of him are from the late 70s-early 80s

I didn't know this, but it makes sense, he was in shape in the 90s and not that old. When he had the column in british flex

Does anyone have the pic of Bertil from a circa 1969 or 1970 issue of Muscular Development showing a 17 year old Bertil winning his first Junior Mr. Britain? Phenomenol physique even then.
