I decided to go your anti-Dutch way, so I didn't work out. Actually, I was at the clinic all night for some emergency stuff and I could hardly lift my toothbrush today. Tomorrow I have to visit both Breda and Weert for business (from Groningen) so I hope I got some energy left for that night's workout. Wanna do back and chest tomorrow. Never did that split before.... 
Well, I can understand your decision with a hectic schedule like that. When I'm tired, I do some cardio only or simply skip a training.
Lately, I perform full body workouts. I do my exercises in a "kiosk mode", for example legs-back-chest-legs-back-chest and then finish with some delt & arm work.
