My wife wears her wedding rings on her middle finger. I'd be concerned that it meant something unflattering except that her ring finger is so badly swollen with arthritis that there is no way these rings would fit the appropriate finger. I am pleased that she wears them at all though, diamonds aren't free.
Incidentally, the ring on Arnold's finger does not appear to be a wedding band.
