He's no pro but IMO has a great eye. From photographers only please critic. I'm pretty proud of him.
They are quite good, if he is serious, start a fund to save for a Hasselblad...some strobes, and a Lowell Kit.
If he
really is serious he should consider Large Format and start experimenting with silver halide/film and make very large prints. In public school I wrote a letter to Ansel Adams and asked him why he devoted so much time to very large prints...He wrote back that "very large prints (20x24 inches and larger) are very striking and exciting to view by the spectator...and more importantly...you can realistically ask for much more money for a photomural than a stack of 8x10 prints."
