Would both work about the same or is one recommended over the other?  I've tried towel bench years ago but recently heard of guys doing floor presses.  Would it be an overkill to add both?

Floor presses work very well.

I used to do them with chains.

I have never done a towel press.

floor press would be a more isolating exercise though the thought of elbows coming down to the floor makes me shudder, suggest you do within a frame or with discs with deeper radi than the length of your forearms

This fella was a big fan of the floor press, but of course his fav tri move was the JM press Grin
