Do you have a cali king size bed, fish tank, huge plasma tv, etc?   Or is your bedroom just a matress and box spring on the floor, a place to sleep?

Good call. Water in the bedroom is supposed to bring "worry" to the unconscious. A bedroom is supposed to be a cocoon. The guy who owns that bedroom in the Aquarium is likely a suicide candidate someday.

Very nice. Any chance of designing a bedroom below a brace of burning crosses? Not for me, understand, but someone I know. Maybe with an eye to a gathering of white hoods, and a shoot-out like Ruby Ridge?

My bedroom is for sleeping. It is all about the bed. On the antique bedstead there is an excellent quality comfortable mattress and box spring, high end sheets, down pillows and a down duvet. There is no television in the room nor anything else that would detract from it's main purpose, which is a place to relax, rest and recharge. There are a few calming paintings on the walls. The window treatments block out any harsh morning light from coming in and interrupting a late morning snooze.

Even if I was the richest man in the world, I would by a nice cozy warm house. No more than 2000 square feet or so definitely one story. Big houses scare the shit out of me. When I was younger and would stay at home by myself I would watch the exorcist and "the ring", fuck I didn't sleep for a month and every noise in the house made me panic. thank god I had my dogs with me lol they saved my life!

Yes wood floors are hard and some think cold looking. But they are great for folks, like me, who have allergies. Currently most of our current home is carpeted. My goal is to rip it all out and replace it with hardwood flooring....not that fake Pergo crap either.

If hardwoods seem too cold, buy room sized area rugs to cover most of the surface. These can be sent out to a professional rug cleaner. When they are cleaned, they are really clean unlike wall to wall carpet which harbors a bunch of shit no matter how often you have it cleaned.
