Holy shit I remember that! Guy was huge, too huge to be just another jobber! Just another shame on WCW and how it was ran.

I also thought Sean Ohare had the "it factor" but unfortunately screwed it up when he hit www. I would have loved to see him against Batista

I really liked the Jindrak/OHaire tag-team in WCW.... if not for EVERYTHING revolving around the nWo for way, way too long, they should have gotten a huge push.

I actually thought they did have a bit of charisma, kinda like the Midnight Express, it came thru in the ring, but they needed an old-school manager to get them over on the mic. That is one HUGE problem today. Feds don't want to use mgrs, instead they throw out bimbo/skanks, which while nice to look at, does little to nothing to get talent over in the long run. We need Cornette, Gary Hart, Humperdink, Dillon, etc...

I agree with you, but I think you'd be hard-pressed to find someone capable of doing it. Just as so many other aspects of the business have faded, the art of being an old-school manager may be COMPLETELY DEAD. I only say that because it's been so long since they've used that kind of character.

It is dead, but only because the idiots running the show have let it. With all the born shit talkers in the world there has to be someone, somewhere who could be decent at it. The cool thing with the old-school managers is that they were often former wrestlers, and there are tons of guys who can still cut promos who could manage. AA comes to mind.
