Unless your goal is to pull old(er) /hot/ tail (they doesn't have much choice, so anything goes as long as it's clean and tidy) I'd have a wider sight in your case, so to say. Buzz-cut is boring and screams "I'm just another average joe with a mediocre imagination, if at all..". And I'd say most of the gusy who think it suits them - just doesn't know any better.
Of course you better not try to pull a /mohawk/ if you are that "regular joe" with a /flat/ personality, kind of - "That guy who works in the office, goes to a gym, because he wants to be tough and rough, but never succeeds, then comes home to his wife and kids, watches some Tv, goes to sleep, rinse repeat, and considers it a "Life every NORMAL male should live." ", it won't work. If you'll have a stylish haircut, but your clothes will tell another story - it's a no go either. It should come from a personality, not from a curiosity "What's a best haircut?", if we talk something creative.
