Another excellent read. I genuinely believe that we really have not seen the best of Captain Marvel, his potential is there for all to see but ofcourse he must always be second fiddle to DC's poster boy. Superman is the Hulk Hogan of superheroes, pushed as the best but will eventually find someone to take his place once his worth lessens. The manifestations of new powers are simply a means to keep people interested in him, same as Hulk's multiple incarnations - if they dont adapt they become stale and fans cry out for a new hero.
Lets not take things too personally and realise these characters are scripted to win or lose by simple animators- not the fictional Gods that empower them as its not real! But as i initially said, when analysed in detail, at their strongest Superman is probably the only one who can win more battles 1 on 1 with Cap - although he will also lose and the fans HAVE to accept he's NOT unbeatable.
BTW i have never seen anything more ridiculous that Superman strapped to a planet and pulling it. I could not stop laughing, even in a comic sense it is a complete joke.
