love that bench press bar but have never understood this guys training, he uses possibly the smallest ROM ive ever seen except for Jason Huh, how the hell do you get anyhting out of tricep movements without locking out?

im starting to think everyone at Metroflex uses quarter reps, it must be a rule for membership.

most pros in their training videos: quarter reps for heavy weights,full-range reps for light weights. ;)

NONE of them except for Jason Huh use reps as small as JOJ and Branch.

We have a bar similar to that, thought it is like a giant oval instead of two diamonds. Awesome for cgbp.

Look more like standing cable decline bench to me.

i would love to have a bar like that in my gym, the wear and tear on the shoulders would be cut down incredibly with the palms facing grip even for regular bench presses.

never said his arms were bad just have never understood not locking out tricep movements, its the most important part of the exercise.

I actually made the bar, has two different hand positions one close for cgbp and one wider for regular bench. Couple guys here have used it with me, they seemed to like it.

BTW, I've said this before, but Johnnys traps were the thickest I have ever seen in person, another dimension completely.

Johnnie jackson cheats on everything
worst form of all pros
he even cheated  on his warm up set for pressdown using momentum even though his back was supposed to be pressed against the pad check out the body movement

and i wouldnt say johnnies tris suck at all

choice is an illusion
