Since And1 makes such a big deal about dunking, dunking has been over-rated...watching Mike actually destroy a team with a reverse lay up or fade away is far more entertaining.

I remember the first time I seen Shaq was that interview he did with Ahmad Rashad for Inside Stuff while still at LSU.

They went to a local gym and Shaq went up for a dunk and just broke the rim away from the glass like it was NOTHING. I was like "yeah this guy is gonna be fun to watch!!"

But it got redundant after a while, and I think that is the reason why he never developed good shooting ability, and free throws were shitty...all that dunking, and him being big, contributed to the "hack a Shaq" later on. Dominant inside, but 20-25 feet out, he was pitiful. Sure he made Penny Hardaway look good, sure Kobe looked good with him, and both those teams were more complete with a big dominant man in the middle...but I'd rather have Grandma as well to be even more dominant.

I went to one of their games lastyear and I noticed that during pre-game Blake jumped like a jack rabbit. Non-stop jumping was a major part of hs warm-up.
