The problem is parents are afraid to discipline their kids precisely this reason "their going to hate me" which in most cases is completely false, they will respect you more. Kids want to be guided. As extreme as you think this was this is what most parents want to say but are afraid. How many times have you seen a child get out of hand in a grocery store and the parent talks baby talk to the kid "no no Johnny that's not nice" and the kid ignores it and.the parent just buys the little brat something just to shut him up? It starts with the parents and then handed off to the kids peers (so to speak) meaning her friends. I'm a firm believer is that your a product of your environment. Chances are this kids friends are just like her. THIS is your true generation of nothingness. Lazy, has a sense of entitlement and feels everything should be handed to her.....bullshit welcome to political correctness run a muck.

He's a shitty parent for letting the relationship with his daughter get so out of line. He's obviously spoilt the little madam in the past.
You reap what you sow with kids. His little girl didn't turn into a girl overnight and the father is clearly a whack job.
You have to rise above a 15 year olds behaviour, not attempt to publicly humiliate them because you've got no more tricks left in the bag,
