Ran a kickoff back against and all black team in highschool. Took it like 99 yards. I did the tebow kneel thing after in the endzone. This was a like 10-11 years ago. That was pretty epic.

Organized a show(bands), back when I was 16, solds out a place, had what was one of the best shows of high school(as referenced by others) the only time my band was really accepted by peers. It was pretty euphoric, I remember days later still being on a high, better than pretty much anything else I've ever experienced.

I ran for over 350 against an all white team in highschool. I shook my head everytime in the endzone. This was like 19 years ago. It was expected.

Finishing my dissertation and getting a nod of approval of my advisor was pretty special. He was/is a brilliant man with the highest of standards. After deliberating over my defense with the committee, he finally walked into the room where I was waiting and, with his best poker face, said "Congratulations doctor" before cracking a smile. That was many years ago, but the sheer intellectual satisfaction of being welcomed as colleague into the company of men and women I originally encountered as teachers still resonates as the best moment of my life.
