To be fair, he literally told Congress if he was going to go to war, he'd go ask the UN if it was ok, and then tell Congress what we were going to do, so I dont really think dude has much respect for the powers that be.

senate resolution 85... congress approved the no fly zone using US bombs dropped from very high. 100 to 0.

so while he didn't let the snot nose kids in congress bragging about their desire to shut down the govt vote on it...

he did let the grownups in senate vote. They unanimously voted to bomb the fuck out of libya to destroy their air force. Obama did let it go past the deadline, but those senators gave him the green light to get it rolling for 90 days.

I was talking about his actual words. What the fuck President thinks its ok to go to the UN for authorization, and then tell Congress that were going to war?
