watch it again lou hated his father, i think he had an oeidupus complex. he tried to sue his father over the equipment store, when his father laughed in his face lou backed off. after his father died he resurrected the law suit against his brother claiming ownershop of the color green.

That was filmed either late October or early November because Marco Andretti was supposed to be on it but didn't because of Dan Weldon's death. Dan Weldon was killed October 16th.

It's hard to believe that anything in Pumping Iron is true.  Too many people say much of it was staged.

Still, I choose to suspend disbelief because it's more fun that way.

I saw Lou at one of the Olympias in the mid 90's. He was on so much gh that his forehead and feet literally entered the room before the rest of his body, walked like a Neanderthal.

the problem with lou has never been his body but his personality

the guy has always acted like an asshole and carried the biggest chip on his shoulder, probably in part because he is deaf, as deaf people tend to be suspicious of others, since they always think they are missing something

as he aged he has only gotten worse due to a self inflated ego leading to full douchebag status
