over training?
« on: October 21, 2005, 11:17:00 AM »
okay here recently i got back into lifting heavily...and i like what i read about hst and hit training so i worked this up...(sets, reps, weight)

bench press-1x15x200,3x10x245
barbell or dumbbell rows-3x10x225 or 3x10x130
upright rows-3x10x135
barbell curls-1x10x140
kick backs-1x10x60
shrugs-4x10x260
deads-3x20x225
squats for the rest of my legs

now in doing this i gained a shit load of strenght really fast..i went from pressing 180 for 6 reps two months ago to doing 200 lbs for warm up among other things...but my fore arms feel like my legs do when you get shin splints! should i take a week off or so? i'm eating a ton of food too which i attribute to gaining 12 lbs. i look great and feel fantastic

but have sense stopped progressing up in weight the past two weeks...and my fore arms start to hurt towards the end..

am i over training? i work out this same way 5 days a week. i dont feel weak or tired at all...but i wondered if i cut back on some sets or amount of days if i would possibly see faster results!

Good solid looking program, what sets u doing for squats.

Maybe cut back to mon/wed/fri, i know that wud only mean 3 sets for arms but try it and c, might not b so sore and wud mean more rest days wen al ur food could be put to better use.
It isn't the mountains ah
