#1 - I will almost agree on this one.   I don't believe Palin is the PRIMARY reason that McCain lost the election.   I think the primary reason he lost was how he reacted to the Financial crisis  - one moment he is saying the fundamentals of the economy are strong and the next moment he is suspending his campaign.   I would say the Palin was a HUGE contributing factor to why he lost but not the primary reason

George Bush was the primary reason McCain lost.
