Pec tear due to Pulldowns?
« on: November 15, 2011, 09:52:31 PM »
For the past week and a half when I raise my right arm, my pec, right in the center hurts like hell...more towards the outer nipple region near the lat area...I haven't trained chest in a few weeks, due to a work situation, but I have down pulldowns---and I remember tha Kevin Levrone had torn his lat and tricep from a lat exercise...

Chest looks same, no purple or blue any where...

No real injury I !guess!.
Maybe some fibers are torn - experienced the same a few years ago. Felt a pain on the inside of my left udder. Was upset like a toddler sans milk. No blood, swelling - 3 years later pec is ok.

Parker,

Are you sure KLO tore his pec that way?  I was thinking he tore it flat benching for some reason.  (Before his tear, he was supposedly tripling 585.)

Could you swing an MRI?  That'd be the best place to start.  If you can pay cash, some places will do an MRI for much, MUCH cheaper than they'd charge Joe Asshole Insurance Company.
