It never made much sense to me - I also don't have much empathy for the people that a) Do it and b) the usual hippies that feel all awe struck "man that takes balls" etc.

Its a supid idea...

I think that guy lived to tell the tale - I remember reading that people (once they'd put their camera phones away) beat down the flames and doused him out.

Ah, got ya - I saw the pics in the Daily Mail website yesterday - didn't know he ended up dying though. Sad thing is that the Chinese who he was protesting against probably didn't bat an eyelid. Savages the lot of them.
