Easter Lily is DEADLY to Cats
« on: April 10, 2013, 10:52:09 AM »
Eating or chewing on just one leaf can result in severe poisoning and death.  A cat must be treated within 18 hours of ingesting the plant, or the damage to the kidneys will be irreversible.

Thanks, PL. There are a lot of stray cats in this area.  ;D

Here there are strays everywhere and they tend to carry a variety of unfriendly bugs/diseases. Surely I'm not expected to round them up like the Crocodile Hunter and get them all spayed/neutered?

The U.S. may be unique in how well its citizens tend to treat animals. It's a bit rougher here.
