Yep yep, definately the way to go to lean out and keep muscle.

When I cut, I change my percentages to up the protein, fat and keep to carbs to 100g a day max.

Obviously I get these from whole/healthy sources, and cut out all junk food apart from 1 cheat meal every 10 days when I have a 'high carb day' (which is still wholegrain sourced, apart from the sugar in the cheat meal)

This along with fasted cardio and some good old ECA, and I get fkn ripped lol.

Agreed. I'm not a food radical. Just reducing carbs and upping healthy fats. Key word there is healthy.

Hey WOOO, have you ever heard of or used Udo's Oil?

Looks like it gets pretty good reviews and has a very comprehensive profile.

Nah... based on the google search the composition is something like
    organic flax seed oil;
    organic sunflower seed oil;
    organic sesame seed oil;
    rice and oat germ oils;
    organic coconut oil;
    organic evening primrose oil;
    lecithin (guaranteed GMO-free);
    vitamin E;
    antioxidants (tocotrienols); and
    rosemary oil.

anyway... i eat flax seed oil, coconut oil, almond oil, macadamia nut oil, seal oil (supplement) and olive oil...

I figure i am getting a balance of EFAs

Yea I just wondered as it seems to be a pretty good all in one supplement, although a bit pricey. Do you take any fish oil?

today's breakdown including 16oz of red wine:

Fat                   112.6g   42.7%
Sodium           2,520.5mg
Carbohydrates   139.2g   23.5%
Protein           200.1g   33.8%

gotta do some cardio soon (about an hour of elliptical and then train abs) before having another protein shake (50g of protein from whey isolate, glutamine, BCAAs, metamucil, peanut butter) and then a 4oz steak, some seal oil and creatine before bed...

i've never found a diet this easy to follow... losing 2-3lbs per week consistently and i have not lost any strength

down 32lbs and counting... starting to see upper abs again

Whoa, good for you dude. I'm going to cut up this summer and I'm definitely going with the low carbs high fat approach.

Right now my EFA intake consists of 3 g fish oil, 2g Evening Primrose Oil, and about 2 tbsp olive oil per day. What would you add/subtract to that?
