That's sad.
Although you didn't hear too much about Chief Jay in his last years, he definitely made his mark on the business.
I know that his son tried to make a go in wrestling, but never caught a break.

I think the Chief maintained a pretty low profile in his later years.
Bret Hart told a story that explained how Chief was watching his granchild one afternoon. He dozed off, and the kid drowned in the swimming pool. Bret said Chief was never the same after that.

Whatever the case...R.I.P., Chief Jay.
