I've seen men who can drink beer until it comes pouring out of their ears but weren't able to handle a couple of glasses of vodka.  But to each his own.   

I've seen this too. I'm not talking about getting drunk. If your a man and you cant stand the taste of beer -any beer, something is wrong.

You're forgetting one great thing about beer -- it comes in its own container (bottle or can) and is easy to drink anywhere.

You've obviously never been to a baseball tourney. Some teams, beer coolers aside, turn up with a good-sized bar. Mix up a fresh one before they hit the on-deck circle.

I still like a beer now and again at baseball games or cookouts for example.  Its just so filling.
