Except for the fact that they don't act super hardcore after shitting their pants to avoid war.
That does make me lol. Especially when he talks about "riding into the battlefield in November".
Ive noticed civilians love to talk about "going to war", or "going to battle", cant forget the whole "street soldier".
Ive also noticed most of those people are wannabe hardcore homo's that would NEVER actually sign up and fight (unless it's with their "nine" gunning down some granny)
Epic fail.

I can't see either of those guys having the balls to serve in a time of war. I'd put a gun to my head and take the bet that Tingles for sure would be across the Canadian border quicker than it takes for you to suck off your favorite NFL team.

Mitt should have looked at this before accepting that endorsement.  Nugent admits in a 1998 interview he used to bang underage girls as often as possible while in his 30s.

The statute of limitations has run out as far as it being felony sex crimes.  But still, romney doesn't want that.

Maybe so. But they don't act tough all the time. That was my point.

By the way, I've noticed you've devolved into insults and accusations like your good buddy.

I know, I know. I'm a gay traitor. But you're obviously a super tough patriot, so sorry to rain on your parade.

Out of curiosity, can you see yourself having the balls to serve in a time of war? Or would you, if push came to shove, be sitting on a couch, chugging Molson Canadian and preparing for the Queen's birthday?

I've been in a war.

Don't ever want to be in another.

Army Cancels Ted Nugent Show

Citing inflammatory language while expressing his displeasure with President Barack Obama, the military has uninvited rock star and conservative political activist Ted Nugent from performing at Fort Knox in Kentucky, according to the U.S. Army post’s Facebook page.

“After learning of opening act Ted Nugent’s recent public comments about the president of the United States, Fort Knox leadership decided to cancel his performance on the installation," it's Facebook posting says.

So far, the June 23 concert remains on the Fort Knox schedule, with REO Speedwagon and Styx listed as “co-headliners,” but army personnel said they will grant requests for refunds in light of their decision to nix the opening act.

What a bunch of crap. I thought the military was not supposed to politicize itself? Cause thats kind of what they just did.

When you criticize "The Commander In Chief" that's what happens.  Kanye West was banned from performing for the military after his comments about Bush not caring about black people.

Eh, at least theyre consistent I guess. Still dont think one's personal political opinions should affect their peformance to Military members (as long as he his politics to himself while performing).
For them to not allow someone who critizes the POTUS not to perform, thats basically them politicizing the military.

If you insult their leader then absolutely.  Fact of the matter is that Obama was elected to his office by the will of the people and as President, he is the Commander of all US Armed Forces.   Ted Nugent can go perform somewhere else....but definitely not the military because he does not respect the office.

Their allegiance is to the Republic, to the people, not to the person that holds office. Thats how dictators are born. You can respect the office but hate the person in charge, thats what makes our system different from the other shithole dictatorial countries, the fact that we dont HAVE to respect the person in office. Thats what the miltary is all about. By doing this, theyre saying that because someone doesnt like the person in office he's not fit to play for those that defend it, which is bullshit.

Like I said, theyre politicizing the military doing things like this. He's an entertainer, not an active duty military member, and his personal feelings on the POTUS shouldnt prevent him from playing to military members. Thats a political move, and its BS.

Like I said, our allegience lies to the Republic, to the people, NOT to the person in the office.

Lamb of god is fucking great.   I have every album.  Hard to pick which I like best.  burn the priest is great, but I always come back to the entire Sacrament album.  There is that song on Sacrament called Again We Rise and at the end I keep saying "FUCK YOU" along w the song and people near me are horrified.

Saw them at Ozzfest a few years ago.  GREAT!   slayer is my fav of all time bar none, but lamb of god is awesome.  from black label on american gospel to the present, they are. Awesome

Actually the military's allegiance is also to the President of the United States
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Article_Two_of_the_United_States_Constitution

But to be clear....the President runs the Armed Forces and if you go out there and shit on him, then you have to accept the consequences of your actions.   There's nothing political about that.  Ted Nugent isn't performing for the Army because he insulted the Commander of those forces....

Their allegience is supposed to be to the office. Not the person thats currently occupying the office. I know you love to say that no one can insult the POTUS without paying the price, but thats exactly what the founding fathers didnt want. They didnt want blind allegience, they didnt want us to be punished for speaking out against our government.

Ted is a loose cannon. People go to concerts to hear good music. I remember watching KISS a few years back. Ted opened for them. I love his music, but had to listen to 20 minute lectures between songs about his personal political views. I could not care less what his personal political views are and as insulting as many of them were to some in the crowd, I can see the military not wanting to be connected to him. Good call on their part as far as I'm concerned. Just play your music and keep your political opinions to yourself.

I think that goes without saying, especially playing for the military.

he was all over the place.. anti-democratic slurs, used the term "wetback" a few times, said "for those of you who can't understand what I'm saying, speak english or get the fuc* out of the country (Austin Texas has a pretty significant hispanic population)

Again, we can discuss politics and whatnot all day long, but when I pay good money to watch a concert, I really don't care to hear a one sided tirade from either side.. Similar experience with Crosby, Stills and Nash, though they can make a better case for the tie in of their music messages to their talk, and they make an attempt to be articulate. But I'd rather just hear the music
