Bustin, We do have to fear a nuclear Iran.  Exploding something from a boat off our shores or taking out Israel is logical fear from a wacky country like Iran. If they get a bomb there will be a race by other Muslim countries to have one too. There have been talk about how Russia with help from int. community chased those stolen mini nukes and other stuff around the world to get it back from wrong hands.
Of course no official reports about outcome have been given.

You make it sound as if a fullscale front on attack is needed. Constant little attacks or little suitcases that makes big BOOMS are sometimes far more effective. Really angers the great public when uncle Sam can't protect them. When the Son of Sam (David Berkowitz) was seen to kill only women with long dark hair, half of New York's females cut their hair and dyed it blonde.

My point is, a fullscale armada will never attack or get close because it's not needed to.
