Facebook will go public with a stock price of $28 to $35, according to updated documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday, a price that would set Facebook's valuation as high as $86.6 billion.

A good long-term investment?  Or will it be like myspace in a few years when someone else comes out with something better?

What could be better than FB?  Something 3 dimensional?  Something without timeline?  Something simpler or more complex?

They have a valuation similar to an earnings leader like Google, but a bullshit, inaccurate banner/text ad serving model.  people don't log-on to facebook to search or buy, and there are others like me who have 3-4 bogus accounts i don't even use, just log-in and out, so they add those into their active account stats.  The early investors are getting a chance to get their profits via dumbasses buying at inflated prices. They are history with 3-5 years.

I'm a big time investor myself, and I won't buy FB stocks for several reasons.

1. FB is already on top of it's game, there is not much more potential to grow, who wants a FB account already got one, it can only go downhill from now on.

2. An Internet company which is done is done, there is hardly a chance for an internet company to recover after a low. Look at myspace, look at yahoo, look at all the others, you think those companies will ever recover again? That means once FB is done and you haven't sold your shares in time, you can wipe your ass with them.

Car companies recover after poor years, food companies recover after poor years, internet companies don't.

Only buy if u can get it prior to the opening. These IPO's are a joke. You have to know somebody to get the stock before the opening, then it goes straight up when everyone else starts buying, and plunges down whe the initial guys dumb their stock.
