may add jean francois caron . who is good and deadlift 840 pounds anmd bench 560 pounds . christian savoie . 6 foot 4 335 poounds . and jessen paulin . .. and others . maggee is out of this for many years now at age 53 . doug hepburn was good too and ben cote pulled 765 pounds in 1961.all canadians...

the thing about Magee is that not only was he super strong, but he had a geat build on him as well Cool

yes tom was  quite an athlete . in powerlifting his nosebleed were a trdemark for him . a bit full of himself too. he was winner of the worlds in 1982 . beating the late wayne bouvier on bwt . ben cote deadlifts in the e arly 60,s were amazing too .
