Who the fuck cars about a distinct sound that is a load of horseshit. The problem is that people like kid rock directly lifted parts for all of his biggest sounds. The guy hasn't produced anything that isn't a blatant lift from somewhere else.

Than you have bands like sum41 who were blatant of there cheap tricks, but i don't think they directly ripped off anything.

He also lies about his upbringing. Much like "the Rock" does.
