I talk about some cases, but I never mention patients names. That's really kind of a professional honour, you just don't do that. Like you never discredit a colleague in front of a patient, even though you think he's a sucks as a doctor. I'mnot kidding about this.

I would have tried to stand back from the situation, think about what actually happened rather than let my emotions take over. I would also not take such a dilema to a board like this.

I'm guilty of being a drama queen myself. I didn't want to discuss this with many people in the real world, I asked advice off a few friends and they said to do exactly what I did. On a board full of juicers, I'm sure there's a few guys here who have had this happen to them. In all honesty, I did handle this very collected and I didn't attack the man and wasn't too hard on him...others would have been far less reasonable and he admitted that himself.

This is NOT America. We don't sue a dude cos he looked at you sideways. OK, what he did was pretty serious but word would get out I shaked him down for a couple of K and I would look like a complete jerk in the long run. Truth be told, a couple of grand wouldn't mean much to me and my father would hear about it and say he would have rather given me the money instead. It looks bad.

About two years ago I got a routine bloodwork check up with my family doctor, I had low thyroid(because of the t3 I was running at the time lol), and the secretary called my parents house. I haven't lived there for years and gave them my cell phone number to contact me. The lady ended up telling my mom all about my blood work, which was ridiculous because  I was 22 at the time. My mom is cool with everything and it wasn't a big deal, it was just the principle of everything. I went in the next day after my mom told me what happened and the lady was fired from her job. I was really pissed and threatened to file a complaint and even had my best friend call his uncle(another doctor) on what to do. The doctor was ignorant as fuck about everything anyways and I needed a new doctor anyways.

I made a thread a while back about visiting a new doctor and my BP was high, etc. and I told him the cycle I was on.
Anyhow...
last night I was in a club and this young guy grabs me by the arm and he was TWISTED drunk. I knew him to see only and he says "Dave, what you are on? What are you taking?". I was like "ugh, creatine and protein, bro".
He stares at me...asks me "do you know X McX?"...and stared me in the eyes. The name didn't actually ring a bell for a second and then he goes "you know him, that's my father". It was the doctor's son.
I was like..."oh yeah...but why are you asking me if I know your father?"
He says "oh I saw you going into him the other day". Which was absolute bullshit.
He replies "Don't worry, my father says nothing". I replied "I hope not." and walked away.

My blood started to boil today the more I thought about it. I live abroad but am back in Ireland for a bit of a vacation and the town I live in is small. Now it's obvious to see me that I'm juicing and most people do ask me if I am. I used to admit it but now I just deny, deny, deny.

I've decided I'm going to ring the doctor's office at 9am and tell his secretary to have him call me back when he has free time and I'm going to tell the story and see what he has to say. I am gonna tell him I'm not happy. I always thought patient-doctor confidentiality was upheld but obviously not in this case.
