Has anyone heard about dimethyltryptamine - the connections with the illumunati and those who have tried it talking about their deep spiritual like experiences!

N,N-Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) is a naturally occurring psychedelic compound of the tryptamine family. Its presence is widespread throughout the plant kingdom - When ingested, DMT acts as a psychedelic drug. Depending on the dose and method of administration, its subjective effects can range from short-lived milder psychedelic states to powerful immersive experiences; these are often described as a total loss of connection to conventional reality with the encounter of ineffable alien realms. Indigenous Amazonian Amerindian cultures consume DMT as the primary psychoactive in ayahuasca, a shamanistic brew used for divinatory and healing purposes.

Several speculative and yet untested hypotheses suggest that endogenous DMT is produced in the human brain and is involved in certain psychological and neurological states

Is it like gypsum(sp?) seeds?  They grow around where I am and people used to eat them in high school. It is a spiney rattle looking plant. You open it and eat the seeds, a few handfuls.

I've researched it for a while but haven't had the balls to try yet.  I do have a connection in Peru though.

I think you mean Jimson weed...people eat the seeds to get high.  Out in the boonies here in SE MI, you occasionally hear about the cops arresting kids who roaming around incohent after eating this stuff.

There's a documentary about it on Netflix.  Called The Spirit Molecule.  I'm not into drugs but I believe I would like to try DMT, maybe Payote or some other psychedelics.
