Yes...those evil Christians. How dare they give themselves to help people. Yes, by all means have more respect for drug dealers, robbers and pimps.

By help you mean by standing in the way of medical progress ( stem cell research ) by attempting to deny tax paying American's equal rights? ( gay marriage ) by pushing to have pseudoscience taught in public schools ( creationism ) do deny a woman's right to choose ( abortion ) I can continue if you'd like

Teaching children that if they don't accept Jesus Christ as their savior they will have their bodies set on fire for eternity is immoral and perverted but that's nothing new to religions. Being a Christian doesn't make you a better person it's nothing to aspire to everything good with Christianity can be and has been done by non-Christians

Yes....brilliant. because the ACLU are infiltrating ourbps schools enought and brainwashing them with gay activism as well as teaching evolution. No no pushing there. Think before you post.

FLEX:

Jul 1987 p 64  " He [Tinerino] had been arrested on
charges of prostitution, money laundering, loan sharking,
and robbery."

No surprise.  He lied his ass off about going natural in the late 70s, which was a total crock.

You can't counter the point so try and divert it  ::) I would have no problem with Christians if they didn't stick their noses in everyone else's business

Your problem isn't with the ACLU it's with Thomas Jefferson and James Madison and the constitution of the United States which prohibit any endorsement of an established religion.

Evolution is a fact in every sense of the word and it's not debatable and anyone who says anything to the contrary should be laughed at and exposes for the morons they are

Again what two tax paying consenting adults do in their bedroom is NONE of my business or yours and because some bronze-age myth says otherwise doesn't mean any rational human being should entertain your fairy tails

I have no problem with Christians being allowed to practice your religion in this country UNTIL you start forcing it on non-Christians , mind your own fucking business and leave the rest of us alone.

And ironic you say think before you post and then try and say two consenting adults wanting to get married is wrong because Leviticus told you so  ::) you can't think for yourself and prefer it that way.

No kidding!  He was the heaviest guy onstage at the 80 O. Which also had these lightweights named Schwarzenegger, Walker and Mentzer in it... And they all juiced freely by their own admission.

Fundies need to get off the evolution nutsack. It's not some weak hypothesis, but a well established theory which underlies all of molecular biology!

Atheists are constantly starting crap to advance their agenda more so than Christians, proof is in the PS systems when they step in to silence Christians but allow (just as an example, Muslims to speak freely)

Your problem isn't with the ACLU it's with Thomas Jefferson and James Madison and the constitution of the United States which prohibit any endorsement of an established religion.

See above answer

Evolution is a fact in every sense of the word and it's not debatable and anyone who says anything to the contrary should be laughed at and exposes for the morons they are

No, it's not a "fact" otherwise there wouldn't be so much debate

Again what two tax paying consenting adults do in their bedroom is NONE of my business or yours and because some bronze-age myth says otherwise doesn't mean any rational human being should entertain your fairy tails

You're right...but in public keep it to themselves and quit pushing it on the public and children

I have no problem with Christians being allowed to practice your religion in this country UNTIL you start forcing it on non-Christians , mind your own fucking business and leave the rest of us alone.

Could say the same the thing about atheists, but all you have to do is look to this board and see the numbnuts who constantly start "God" threads just for the sake of starting shit.

And ironic you say think before you post and then try and say two consenting adults wanting to get married is wrong because Leviticus told you so  ::) you can't think for yourself and prefer it that way.

BTW, very few Christians advocate not using a doctor when someone gets sick. Those are the dangerous ones.

Name them don't assert them.

And the above answer doesn't say anything , again how can the ACLU do this? the Constitution allows it , thanks to Thomas Jefferson and James Madison

Quote
No, it's not a "fact" otherwise there wouldn't be so much debate

There is NO debate NONE what so ever. Creationism had their say in court and failed miserably

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitzmiller_v._Dover_Area_School_District

The ' debate ' is Christians trying to FORCE their stupid beliefs onto the rest of us , this is a non-issue only stupid Evangelical American Christians believe in creationsim , the Catholic church acknowledges evolution and claims God is responsible.

Evolution is a fact in every sense of the word and what you ' believe ' doesn't change that

Quote
You're right...but in public keep it to themselves and quit pushing it on the public and children

Pushing what? the fact that believers are preventing them from their civil rights? just shut up fags and quit your bitching  ::)

OMG the children will see that relationships aren't just men and women  ::) give me a fucking break it's for the kids , your kids will have the learn to deal with the FACT that there are more to relationships than just heterosexuals

You're comparing some trolls on an internet bodybuilding site to Christians trying to change public policy because it contradicts their beliefs , seriously you feel comfortable typing this?

Non-Christians are sick Christians bullshit and in this day-and-age you can get away with saying anything you want against the church without fear of reprisals , you can thank the founding fathers for that one as well

The convergence of evidence is so overwhelming it's iron clad , the only ones who do argue about it are fundies , they may argue about how it occurs ( natural selection vs punctuated equilibrium ) but it's like arguing there is no such thing as gravity  :-\

I guess "Bodybuilder Lex Osama" forgot to mention this part of the story....

Dennis Tinerino, a champion bodybuilder who later became an international evangelist, died Friday after an 18-month battle with stomach cancer. He was 64.

A former Mr. America and four-time Mr. Universe, Tinerino was a bodybuilding star and actor during the 1960s and 1970s. The Brooklyn native competed with Arnold Schwarzenegger for the title of Mr. Universe in 1967 and appeared in Schwarzenegger's first movie, Hercules in New York.
But Tinero eventually landed in prison after getting entangled in organized crime and operating an escort service. He accepted Christ while incarcerated after striking up a long-distance relationship with former Mr. South Africa Ray McCauley, who became a prominent pastor in South Africa.

Tinerino was later baptized in the Holy Spirit and founded Dennis Tinerino Ministries in 1979. He preached across the U.S. and in dozens of countries, including South Africa, Japan, Ukraine, Greece and Australia. Friends and ministry associates say Tinerino's ministry touched millions of lives.

"We called him a prophetic evangelist because in all my years I never heard a guy who was more bold," said Tinerino's pastor, Graham Cathers of Living Faith Christian Church in Northridge, Calif. "He didn't care who you were or where he was, he was going to make sure you heard the gospel."

"His nickname was The Sermonator, jokingly," Cathers added.

Tinerino chronicled his spiritual journey in the 2006 book Super Size Your Faith.
Tinerino is survived by his wife, Anita; daughters Tara and Marissa; son Dennis-John; son-in-law Eli Flora; his parents; two brothers; two nieces and two nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at The Church on the Way, East Campus, in Van Nuys, Calif.

Yes, Dennis became a "christian" but it's debatable whether or not his faith was genuine.  He was pretty much  a "name it and claim it" charlatan in the mold (how appropriate a term) of Jim Baker or Jimmy Swaggart.

But at the end of his life, I hope he was sincere and truly accepted.

Good post but seriously, ND, arguing with Coach...A debate with my 3yo induces more rational exchanges then this.
