Lexington Athletic Club is the best gym I've worked out at. It's by Fayette mall...I don't know the exact street name?
Urban Active on Palumbo dr is decent, a little older though.
There's more of course but them are the only one's I've broke sweat at

Yes... Lexington is a pretty decent city... lots of gyms all over.
