Besides the cars Ronnie lived a "modest" life in terms of spending, lived in the same house before winning the olympia and even after that never moved and houses in tx are cheap, I'm betting his was no more than 200k and that's at the high end

Jay on the other hand.... But I don't thjnk he's broke by any means yet...

But, he had/has kids to pay for. And I think Texas has a ceiling for child support, no matter how much you make, I believe that ceiling is $1,200 a month.

According to the blog post he said that he sold the cars to raise capital for his supplement company.

Most NFL players are completely broke a few short years after they are finished playing. They have no concept of money.  Why would Ronnie be any different. I bet he didn't make that much during his hey day. Maybe 500K a year. That goes quick owning 400k in cars and owning a big mortgage house. When his money went down to 35K a year I bet he couldn't pay his bills. This of course is complete speculation.
