I'm not a cross fit fan but the truth is that most guys that bodybuild would get seriously embarrassed trying to keep up with a work out of the day in cross fit. I see nothing wrong with trying to be super fit as your primary goal instead of injecting steroids trying to look like a cosmetic superman image athlete.

they have full sized plates that only weigh 5 kilo and they use a women's barbell which weight 15kgso what looks like 135lbs is actually 25kg (55lbs)
