I spoze if you're getting US tilapa, but most tilapia consumed in the U.S. comes from China/Taiwan (frozen) or Central and South America (fresh). Less than 10 percent of tilapia consumed in the U.S. is farmed domestically. Avoid anything out of China.
I think you guys are reading into this to much, I have been eating talipia since the beginning of time and I have never had a problem. What is wrong with Chinese talipia?
