That truck was sick fast, but a powerstroke sounds better and you can get more out of it. That being said its amazing what they can do with a heavy ass diesel these days.

When I lived in Texas, I didn't run into many stereotypical "Texans". At least not in Houston. Outside the city the accent's started showing up.. but most of the people outside Houston were fairly friendly. Inside the city was a little different.

X2 You will see the stereotype in north texas or small areas maybe. But hell, mostly all i see in my city or prius, civics, and fits. I saw on the news yesterday, that the texas accent is going away. And the younger people that have it, hide it in professional settings.

I knew a girl in High School who would fake a southern accent ---everytime she'd go down south, she all of sudden have a southern accent.
Imagine a woman who looked like Adele minus 25-30 pounds on her waist, but add 10-15 more "up top",
and another 10-15 on her legs and calves.

On my mom's side, they sound like Foghorn Leghorn, Yosemite Sam or that funny talking dude on King of Hill, complete with "chaw" in their mouths. As a kid, I couldn't understand them, so I just nodded my head, and watch them spit chewing tobacco.

Houston is very different from the rest of Texas. Get 100 miles outside of Houston and the heyhaw comes out for sure. I went to a very country school and i bet 60% of the boys drove old Chevy/Ford/Dodge trucks with lift kits and glass pack mufflers. Many had those bolted down campers in the bed like the old school ranchers used.

Downtown Houston is ghetto as hell and all thugged out these days. A lot of rich white/asian/indian people here as well due to the powerful economy and energy sector.

Most "country" people are very friendly, but you get a few crazy rednecks every now and again.

Yup. We use the M2 in the same way. Although, it still isn't quite as big... but its much more mobile. Although an Army friend of mine told me they weren't allowed to engage soft targets with the M2, it was considered "inhumane"... but we (USMC) were.
