So in 2008 Obama had no prior legislative record (save for voting present and giving one memorable speech at the 2004 DNC convention) and no Presidential record. Nobody (except for curious minded and informed people) seemed to know much about him.
In 2012 Obama's record is an unmitigated nightmare-- economically, foreign policy wise, etc. The members of his cabinet have shown themselves to be corrupt, incompetent buffoons and his two crowning achievements; killing OBL and saving GM have both been exposed as paper thin frauds that have done less than nothing to help the United States fight terrorism or improve its stagnant economy.
In 2008 when the REV Wright connection was exposed-- the whole media practically bent over backward to cover it up. Obama then gave a nonsensical speech about race intended to distract everyone from the truth ( which worked) and for the most part the episode was never brought up again.
It will be interesting the gauge the reaction in 2012-- especially the day before the first debate.
Obama is dead and served up on a silver platter. On the issues, he is toast. On ideology, he is toast. On economics, he is a pinyata. On foreign policy, he is Hellen Keller getting gangbanged; Offensive in every which way and insulting to humanity. Hypothetically, all Romney has to do is stick to the issues and go for the kill. Unfortunately, it is going to be Romney versus all the moderators and Obama in front of a hostile crowd and covered by rabidly biased media.
We shall see.
