2012 Sheru Classic - Kai robbed again

It's not even close in those pictures.  Phil looks awesome, but Kai looks like he is from another world in those pics.

KAI is quickly going to become the underdog and fan favorite.  Phil will quickly lose respect if he's continually handed wins like this one - Kai looks huge next to him.

I've said it before, but it bears repeating.  Kai is the closest we may ever get to a prime Coleman in our lifetime.

FDB: Kai
Why? This pose for him has dramically improved over the last 1-2 years. Now he is at the point where the pose flows well and his waist is in check. His lats are clearly wider and one big flaw Phil has in this pose is his chest, which looks very flat compared to Kai's which looks thick and full. Legs are pretty close in this pose, but upper body of Kai's gets him the win here.



FLS: Draw
Why? Generally Phil's abs are very visible in this pose and give him the slight edge to look more conditioned. Here, they barely show. Kai's lats are wider but everything else is too close to choose a clear winner.



RLS: Phil
Why? Even though the judges at the olympia gave this pose to Kai, i think Phil edges him out in it. Only reason is conditioning. Phil's back has great detail in this pose and his traps looks great. Kai has more mass everywhere and in the legs and is clearly wider, but lacks the detail. Looks too smooth. However, if he was a little more conditioned and built his traps up, Kai would win this pose.



BDB: Kai
Why? His lats are much wider, back overall bigger and more detailed, arms much bigger with amazing peaks and tricep sweep, quads have better sweep and more overall leg mass, hamstring and calves bigger and more detailed. Conditoioning is similar on both, but Kai has too much mass for Phil to compare with.



SC: Kai
Why? The thing that stands out immediately is Kai's quads. Amazing striations and mass which Phil lacks. Chest is clearly larger and fuller, and arms look crazy compared to Phil's here. Conditioning similar, but again Kai has too many stand out parts which Phil doesn't. This is Kai's best pose.



ST: Draw
Why? This pose could go either way. At the Olympia Phil won it imo. But here, Kai's legs seem much more bigger and detailed and his chest looks fuller. Phil obviously has the better triceps and midsection. So could go either way depending on whats judges favor.



A&T: Kai
Why? Lats wider (which shows Phil's structural flaw) and quads obviously better then Phils. Amazing striations. Phil has the tighter midsection, but still isn't enough to make his lats look bigger. Kai wins this pose but not by much.



MM: Phil
His arms and delts look crazy in this pose. Kai doesn't have the huge round detailed shoulders and traps like Phil.

I think Phil legitimately won the Olympia, but Kai definitely took this contest.  Phil faded while Kai filled out and got even leaner.

According to Hany in the wrap up interview, Phil was actually better than at the Olympia, "tighter in the glutes" etc. Kai on the other hand was cirka 10 % worse than the O.
