Any kind of "tie" doesn't look good for repubs, sadly.
WHAT!! First, the consensus is that this wasn't a tie. Ryan won it. Second, even if it were a tie, with that beating Obama took last week, the GOP would still be in the lead. All Biden did was what we expected him to do: Parrot all the talking points about which left slammed Obama for not using. In the end, even with the precious 47% comment, which liberals swore would be Romney's undoing, Ryan still came out on top. |

mmmmmm....I think Biden hung himself by acting like an idiot. I believe Ryan kept good composure and answered everything well. Biden tried too hard to make up for lost ground and it was way too obvious. My .02
Hmmm, rather interesting takes here on getbig. To me, Biden won on several pts and had the "fire in the belly" that Pres. Obama lacked in his 1st debate against Romney. Joe Biden is a walking wikapedia when it comes to what's happening in the middle east. The other thing that helped Biden , is his more direct answers to things like medicare for seniors. Ryan started good and finished with a wonderful, moving final statement. I'm not too sure how this VP debate will effect the polls, but it's on to Pres. debate 2 next week. |

Did Biden lie about wanting medicare benefits moved back to 70? Did Biden lie about people on medicare having choices or was that Ryan skewing the facts about medicare choices? Why do both parties skirt the real issue with healthcare and look at private payers? Did Biden lie about the loop holes on taxes to be paid by Romney compared to the group that falls between the 100-250,00 income group? Both canidates proved one thing, vote either way, it doesn't matter, your screwed unless your rich! |
