Life takes a toll on some people. I suspect life is particularly hard for women in her part of the world. It is no surprise if she hasn't aged well. Not sure what her age was in that photo, but she might still have been a young teenager. Imagine how she might have looked had be become a Hollywood celebrity instead of a Mid-East drudge.

Seen better days...  The girl in the original photograph was only probably 13 years old at the time it was taken. She looks much older then that then and now, when she is thought to be 30 years old. Back in the early to mid 80's I was a trainer at the ABC Entertainment center in Century City. One of girls I used to date was a trainer there as well. We use to go over her house for lunch, hang out, etc. Her mom used to make us dinner once in a while. She was (still is) a famous comedic actress (Cloris Leachman). Our other friend was also a trainer. One day, he asked me and my then girlfriend to come over and hang out after work, then go out later that night. His name was Damian Welch. When we when over to his house, I didn't quite put two and two together with his last name. The house by the way was freaking ridiculously beautiful. When we walked in, he called his mom down to introduce her to me, when she came down from the upstairs, this is who I was introduced to. Words forgot to come out of my mouth...
