would have expected him to support Paris's view as they are both "brothers" however it seems his disdain for "lifting weights" has over powered his cock-lust bob is too good looking and "pretty" for bay's taste just check out his "yes yes, no, yes, no" thread, worst taste in guys ever E

The question was what happened to bodybuilding, not what happened to him.
Great physique, bodybuilding was really an art form back then, now just drugged up graffiti.

Really? I never got that from him. Been a really big fan of him. He lives pretty damn close to me too. I always hoped I'd run into him.
OMR is also a really good writer too, and a good person.
You know I was referring to BayGBM right bro? I'm a huge Paris fan

Really? Sorry, I'm not buying that... and when one looks at how so many bodybuilders turn out a few years later (broke, damaged relationships, unhealthy, etc.) it's clear that they were not building lives--only bodies. I wish the case were otherwise. Yeah what you say is true for bodybuilding today.... but was different back in Paris' day! They were building lives back then!

I laugh at this hypocrites calling him a fag. He was a gay gentleman and also was much straighter than 99% of IFBB before, then and since. He was openly in a relationship. No running trains on coke and meth ala cormier, melvin titus or doning a nazi suit in order to scream at an old gent in diapers with a lollypop on a tricycle or shitting on booty etc.

Anyone, who is not a professional bodybuilder, who wants to be bigger than Bob Paris has a mental problem IMO.

Reeves often stated he built his physique proportionately intentionally, but its obvious he wouldve looked great even without touching a weight, and shape and flow is genetic
Zane was maybe the first to make the point of sculpting the body, adding here, taking away there (in his case, he held back on leg development, he said)
Makes me wonder, did Paris consciously make an effort to develop his body the way it turned out, or did it just happen from training anyway, due to his genes ?

Yes, what happened to Bodybuilding? Interesting choice of a pic by choosing Jacques Neuville, see ing as how in 1981 he won the world champs by beating Tim Belknap and yet nowadays it is the Belknap type of physique thats winning shows.

Truth, and thats why the sport and its prize money is a joke, the product sucks. Sports run by idiots who couldn't really make it in the business world, Arnold and his look brought bodybuilding into the mainstream, the most difficult thing to do is getting established, he established the sport and the IFBB killed it with its judging criteria, they needed to impose the right guidelines at the right point in time, too late now, height to weight ratios are ridiculous, muscle and drug obesity has replaced a sport that once resembled an art.Absolutely criminal, tradespeople earn more money than the majority of pro bodybuilders.

Look, I've written this so many times before it's become something of a personal cliché: Back when I was 19 and wholly adrift, bodybuilding saved my life. But not because of the muscles. Rather, bodybuilding saved me because of the discipline, direction and focus it engendered. It provided both a physical and metaphorical path forward.
now, I simply suck cocks and receive prostate massages, boy did that save my life...

He had a long waist (torso).
and that's a big part of the reason why his legs "appear" to be too big for his upper bod
