2 parter part 1..leg workout..pt 2..dinner i made for me and wife..

quads
hacks set 1 and 2 warmup 1and 2 45'sper side..then did 3/4/5 plates per repped 10-12
leg press 4 /5/6/7 plates last set dropped back to 5plates x8 additional
walking lunges 80lb bar on back walked gym floor x2up once and then back..rest minute between.
leg extensions sets 12 x3 205/220/235

hams
sldl bar 135/185/225/275
lying leg curls 140/155/160

calves
seated calf raise 2.5plates,3 plates.3.5platesx2 sets 12
leg press extension x3

dinner part
prepared cold salad tomatoes'vine type/cucumbers/calamata olives/craisens/roasted red pepper 'sliced'/mozzarella,red onion/balsamic dressing'then chilled

fresh flounder breaded with whole grain bread crumbs fried in olive oil,

pasta rigatoni.. topped with red peppers/zucchini/calamata olives and vodka sauce'not homeade' Tongue,,

glass red wine ...tutti bene,mangia...buon appetitto..

Great to be here guys.................... ..my gym`s closed for 2 fucking weeks.

University gym

I`ll have to hit the other university gym on Monday,as it`ll be open.............it`s the only other gym in town.  Sad

I`ll have to read this thread once I get time.

back at home gym closed christmas,,went to dads morning and moms afternoon dinner'.kids spoiled beyond belief'..snuck in some pump time.was usual training day.

behind neck pulldowns x3
in between set pulldown did single arm rows 15 rep set
close grip front pulldowns x3
low pully row x3
front bar stretch pulldown to waist standing in front x3

bi's
curlbar curls x4
inc db curls x3
hammers curls x3 turn db sideways instead usual up and down
seated curls cable x3

abs

old schoolside chest shot...merry holiday all...
Looking damn good as usual my brother.

Always lean and in shape........props!!

Damn good vascularity also.

Steve,I can hionestly say,I`m always impressed by your pics and your workouts.

It`s a great feeling to look as good as we do at our respective ages.

Just think,we look better than 99% of the male population and that includes guys between 20-40 or older.........or younger even.  Wink

It`s in our blood bro,that`s why we`ll be doing this stuff forever.

even though i never made it in a magazine,i can honestly say i tried hard as heck to resemble in some way a bber ,whether leaness,or decent genetics wise size /shape for my frame,i loved that era 70/90,,loved zane,the most his build mid 70's lean but not 77/82 when he was sickhard which was his extreme ,but the other yrs early 70's i feel on some level kind of the same walk around look,not tooting my horn tho lol,,,i still marvel at your look those gym shots amazing ..

working today well just 5 hours so afterwards i will Train legs...

    Tri set ....

leg extensions 3x 15
Smith machine front squats 3x10
seated leg curls 3x15

I will finish off with some leg press 3-4 sets and calfes 4-5 sets.

was running yesterday evening and my knee felt very good. I will try and hit my quads better today with front squats and i do like them in the Smith machine.

Bent Barbell Rows 5 sets drop set last 3-25s/2-25s/1-25
One arm cable pull downs 3 sets of 20
Rope pulls to waist with pause 3X10
Chins 4 different grips 4X8

Pushdowns 2X25
Dip Machine 3X10
One arm cable kickbacks 3X10
Rope pushdowns 3x15 drop on last set.

I have done this weekly split, and really like it with my hectic work schedule.
My workouts usually last about 45 minutes.

I) Chest and Biceps
II) Traps and Back
III) Shoulders and Triceps
IV) Calves and Legs (  prioritizing Hams).

My workout strategy prioritizes bringing up weak areas, and
longevity. I never have a problem enjoying working out, even without a partner. I get obsessed with my career, and it is difficult at times working out consistently.

Thanks for the welcome Ken, and njflex. One downside to not having a workout partner is I really have no one locally to help keep learning from to improve. I am hoping this forum can help provide that support I am lacking.
My 6 month goal is not complicated. I simply want to make it to the gym consistently. A consistent diet will follow suit naturally. I have spent the past 5 years working feverishly for a new career, which is finally taking off. Now that it is, I can prioritize working out moreso.

Well, I would disagree. You have the wheels I wish I had to cram into mine. If you really want a pair they are made by Adidas. They are crazy comfortable and not expensive. I have several pair in various color combos. If you can't find them locally, I'll send you some, fresh in the original package (no homo,  Grin). Just promise me you won't post up your wheels in orange Adidas on Getbig and show me up.

This morning I did 4 sets of 25 kickbacks, 4 sets of 20 bodyweight only squats, 4 sets of 25 seated leg raises, 4 sets of 25 leg extensions and for sets of 20 flat hand toe touches. I am only two more physical therapy sessions away from hitting the gym and becoming the monster in my mind. Watch out buddy! You are still my challenge and my inspiration.

ha ha...got locked up once in Stirling Scotland on New Year. They found my ID and called the Military Police in Edinburgh who could not be botherd to come and get me so they just checked i was not AWOL and said just let him out when he is sober... The Breakfast they served me i would not feed a pig Undecided anyway i will have a few but stay at home too Jay.
