It's neither. At no time did I indicate or predict that this election would be a landslide. I figured, if Romney won, he'd get just over 270.

People in the northeast yap about secession all the time, too.

When Obama and his policies continue to flop and unemployment remains high, you'll be the one wishing it were 2004.

So were posting poll data that was biased as hell.

Of course the pendulum will keep swinging back and forth.

I'm still more surprised by Bush's win in 2004 than Obama's this year.

I have no doubt that the Republicans will win big again. Can't say when for certain, but that day is coming.

This is not 2004 and it is not the electorate of 2004.  2016 will be even further away. 

Any Republican that doesn't understand this is kidding themselves and is gonna be scratching their head for the next 20 years worth of elections going "huh, what happened"?.
