Why are there so many bodybuilders that once they retire they run to religion? Mostly Christianity? North and South America are Christian continents. Not Muslim, not Hindu. What do you mean by "run to religion"?

They concentrate on bodybuilding so much that they dont develop other parts of themselves, once bodybuilding is all over and done with they have nothing left inside of them and they "run to religion" to find answers.
Thats a pretty big fucking assumption to make about someone you never met in your life or know anything about.

Dennis has always been a very active Christian, even during his competing days, so this is nothing new with him and assuming that he suddenly "ran to religion" would be jumping to (inaccurate) conclusions. But what would be wrong with turning to religion anyway in one's search for answers in life?

I think religion gets in the way of understanding the concept of God. Religion produces more questions than answers to life, being drawn up by aggressive and controling men who have neither true insight or knowledge. Good for Tinerino if it makes him have a feeling of doing good for others, but he also is projecting his own ego upon others, either good or bad. My first schooling was from Christian missionary's in a small South Sea island village. I hope I have grown much since than and can reley on my own spiritual judgements rather than good Christians like Tinerino "helping" me along the spiritual path because I have been born a sinner in their mind. Some people don't run to Jesus but some do hide behind him.
