About Mike Johnston, VP of

Mike Johnston is a physical therapist and strength and conditioning specialist. He is a former Marine and former assistant strength coach at UCONN. Mike is the VP/ co-owner of American Strongman Corporation. He is a retired professional strongman and current professional powerlifter. Mike currently manages the physical therapy department of Sports Medicine Grant Orthopedic Associates in Columbus, Ohio. He has rehabbed thousands of professional, collegiate, high-school and recreational athletes over the past 15 years. Mike is a nationally recognized speaker with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and as part of his duties with ASC he oversees media relations and serves as the MC during ASC Live Events.

Bryan Hildebrand is the Editor N’ Chief for’s Strength Central and he’s the co-host of RxMuscle Power Hour Talk Radio. Hildebrand has also been a long standing strongman, Highland Games and powerlifting competitor in the heavyweight division.
