I've heard that one, added "since your upper body will be heavier, the legs will grow from the extra effort."
so did falcon say this as well?

not bad in fact, when falcon was at his peak his quads overpowered the rest of his physique doubt he ever ran a sub-6 mile though

I don't know man 29x135 is pretty shitty for squats.
I could do that easy and my legs aren't strong.

Bro science is not necessarily 'wrong', bro science denotes a sort of jock/laymans understanding of real science that may or may not be true. Professionals/scientist are not always correct with their ideas either, and sometimes deliberately misinterpret data for profit motivations..
Mainstream science (as far as sports nutrition and bodybuilding goes) tends to be WAAAAAAAAAAY behind what we iron enthusiasts have known for decades. You can go back 25 or 30 years and read nutrition and training information that some mainstream pubs will post, as if it just got discovered two weeks ago. Or, as I said four years ago: You can look at late-20th/early-21st century research, regarding protein and its effects on building mass. And, I can virtually guarantee you that bodybuilders were doing 30-40 years prior to these findings, and getting great results.
Or as this quote puts it,
"Millions of people are involved in exercise programs that involve strength training and aerobic exercise. High-protein diets are the craze. Arnold (Schwarzenegger) was doing that back in the '70s, in the 60s." - Bill Phillips, "Iron and Beyond", from the Pumping Iron: 25th Anniversary Edition DVD.

^good quote
Potatoes and the like facilitated population growth, but at the expense of the peoples' vigor. In industrial England the population actually started to shrink compared to the Middle Ages--due to food of this sort (as well as the pollution associated with urban life of course)
They died from the black death. Nothing to do with potatoes & the like, bro.

Rep ranges that are not divisible by of 5 or 10 will confuse the muscle into maximal growth.
This also applies to the number of calories eaten and a reluctant metabolism.
Enjoy the gains, bros.
