Not everybody on the left is motivated by free stuff. That's as dumb as saying that everybody on the right is motivated by a single issue. Are there democrats who want "free stuff"? Sure. Just like there are republicans who want prayer and a generous helping of "Blood of the Lamb - washes clean the darkest sin!".
The world isn't black and white and people's positions on issues vary depending on the specifics.
Those who are hyper-partisan - regardless of whether they're far left or far right - need to be isolated and our country needs to become less polarized. But that won't happen where there's people who stir up bullshit. That is to say, people like you.

Its all about greed and demands of FREE STUFF and GOODIES by the taxpayer that motivates every faction of the left in one form or another even though sometimes these groups have interests directly opposed to the other.
