She said "romney is a felon"

Not directly, but let's not be fooled that it wasn't the message they wanted out there.

Quote
Deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter laid out the issue as the Obama team sees it: “Either Mitt Romney, through his own words and his own signature, was misrepresenting his position at Bain to the SEC, which is a felony."

Stephanie Cutter Clarifies Her Comment For Wolf Blitzer: Romney Is A Liar, Not A Felon
Videoby Alex Alvarez | 5:25 pm, July 16th, 2012
» 197 comments On Monday, The Situation Room host Wolf Blitzer spoke with Stephenie Cutter, the Obama staffer who made headlines after floating the possibility that Mitt Romney is either a liar or a felon when it comes to explaining his timeline at Bain.

The show aired a clip of Cutter’s comment — which she originally made during an Obama campaign conference call — and a response Romney gave earlier today on Fox & Friends. (It’s worth noting that Romney is specifically responding to a different but related comment by Rahm Emanuel in the clip, not directly to Cutter’s claims.)

RELATED: Bob Schieffer Confronts Obama Staffer Who Said Romney Either Lied Or May Have Committed Felony

Cutter reiterated her original comment for Blitzer, saying that “either Mitt Romney was attesting to something that is true to the SEC — that he was the CEO, chairman, president and sole owner of Bain Capital — or he’s misrepresenting his time at Bain Capital to the American people. Because both of those things can’t be true.”

She later added further clarification that “we’re not accusing Mitt Romney of committing a crime here; we’re actually saying that he’s misrepresenting his time at Bain to the American people.” She cited reports from independent news sources showing Romney received a salary and appeared in promotional materials for Bain during a time he has described as being his leave of absence from the company. His explanation, she added, simply “doesn’t add up.”

When asked if she regretted having used the term “felony,” Cutter responded that she certainly did not. “It’s a fact,” she said, that lying on federal documents is a felony. Which is, again, not what she is claiming Romney has done.

The details, meaning the direct quote, implies a felony.   There's no difference, and she used the words with purpose.

he was still signing documents in a 'pseudo retirement' that let him claim to be not involved with the bain activities - yet still retain the title, the paycheck, and filings.

Yes, he was either still secretly working there (yes, he was) or committing a felony (no he was not).

If you sign documents as CEO and you're not, that's kinda a big deal.

You're really struggling with this.

I under the new rules

baseless personal attack, even based on false information are PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE as long as the subject of the attack is not a member of this board

if one member wants to "attack" another for the stupid, false and offensive shit that they post then that is not allowed

of course, as expected you came crawling back because you're addicted to posting your vile, baseless, usually false, personal insults against Obama, Michelle and anyone else your diseased brain has told you is trying to "collapse" the nation only now you get free reign to do it and I'm sure Ozmo will find this post "offensive" and be deleting it soon

She said that Romney was either a liar or a felon.

He said he was done at Bain yet he recieved a salary from them.

So he is a liar.

But Romney has lied more than he has told the truth so its not really deal breaking. Unless you believe him but then you have bigger problems.

Barack Obama blunders again on the world stage

By Nile Gardiner World Last updated: November 19th, 2012

Barack Obama: hardly off to a flying start

It is only two weeks since his re-election, and his second term remains two months away, but Barack Obama is already blundering again on the world stage, with the kind of gaffes that would have been plastered on the front page of The New York Times if they had been committed by George W. Bush when he was in the White House. Obama's first term was littered with foreign policy gaffes, and there is every chance the second term will be more of the same.

On his trip to Asia this week, President Obama struggled to pronounce the name of Aung San Suu Kyi, the most prominent human rights activist in the world. As The Associated Press reports (hat tip: Drudge Report):

As Obama stood next to the world's most recognized democracy icon, he mispronounced her name repeatedly.

Ever gracious, Suu Kyi did not correct her American guest for calling her Aung YAN Suu Kyi multiple times during his statement to reporters after their meeting.

Proper pronunciation for the Nobel laureate's name is Ahng Sahn Soo Chee.

Obama also “botched” his greeting of Burma’s new president, according to the AP:

The meeting came after Obama met with Myanmar's reformist new President Thein Sein – a name he also botched.

As the two addressed the media, Obama called his counterpart "President Sein," an awkward, slightly affectionate reference that would make most Burmese cringe.

That's a personal issue you have with 333333.  You don't like the way he acts, you don't like his politics, etc.   That no longer gives you the right to insult him, badger, bait, name call, etc just as it does with you.  And YOU have SEEN me go round and round with him on matters like this.  Check out the hostess thread, its not that hard to do.

If you have that much of an issue PM him and carry it on there.

but on this forum, find a way to make a point with out attacking the poster personally by calling them names, insulting, badgering etc.

If you don't like a thread he starts, you ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO PARTICIPATE IN IT.  So just ignore it.  or challenge it in a way that doesn't included personally attacking a person by abusive ad-hom, insults, badgering etc.

I think EVERYONE in here including 333333 saw just how wrong he was on 11-6.   Wasn't the first time.

nuff said.  move on.
