Blowing up the moon is their ultimate goal.  Some how the moon was implicated in some cartoon dishonoring Mohamed while he was talking to ants who told him not to eat pork and spend the next 1500 years fighting with each other while blaming the Jews and moving their families out of the Middle East while telling everyone how great it is to be a women there. 

They just need to get a sleeper agent on the moon expedition and he can secretly strap bombs to his body.

Ideally Muslims would have the moon blow itself up.  As an American I can say to that is "Not if we get there first A-rabs"!
